Ordered takeout. For overall quality and portion size its a bit disappointing. Robongi has better quality and portions by far

Saku is attractive in a strange Two-Face kind of way, where one room is all pink sakura lightness and being, while the other room (where we were seated) is all dark, depressing velvet underground melancholy. The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty rolls: 1) Saku: Probably the best and most traditional of our rolls with salmon and avocado inside, and ponzu, chives and crispy shallots on the outside. 2) Lobster: Not enough lobster salad inside to justify the overuse of miso-yuzu mayo, and just a whole ton of filler nonsense going on outside wrapped in pink soy paper. 3) Drop It Like Its Hot: Not spicy enough to justify the cute name. This should've been an easy slam dunk in flavor, but everything felt kind of bland and flat. Maybe due to the lack of nori. 4) Crunch Drunk Love: Lots of fish, but again, not enough flavor. We also got the Edamame with Spicy Miso Butter, which was just OK--the butter was weirdly sour. I wouldn't order it again. In fact, I....wouldn't reall

I was visiting Hoboken this weekend and stopped in for dinner Saturday. I had a 10/10 experience and I’ll start with the staff. My server Tori was excellent (and gorg) and so helpful with the menu and providing recommendations. My friends and I got a bunch of things to split and the crispy rice is a must order. Rock shrimp roll was delicious and I’ll say I’m not a big fan of fruit with my sushi but im reconsidering after the mango roll…. Omg. Drinks were also amazing, I got a lychee martini (several). Such a fun ambiance for a girls dinner or cozy date night. Consider me a regular when I’m back in town!!!

Absolutely loved this spot! The drinks were really good and the sushi was super fresh. Highly recommend the Drop It Like It’s Hot rollβ€”incredible!!! The staff truly made the experience even better: our waiter was fun and attentive, and the manager came over to check in. Everyone was genuinely so kind. The atmosphere is adorable tooβ€”everything is pink inside with a really nice ambiance. Definitely a place I’d recommend and can’t wait to go back to with friends.

Service and food was good. We got seated quickly on a Saturday night. My only complaint is that we ordered a roll that had cbd infused spicy mayo. I am pregnant and didn’t see the cbd (there weren’t any special stars or notation next to the roll). The waiter didn’t say anything when we ordered either. I didn’t realize until I had two pieces and the server asked if we were feeling β€œrelaxed” that there was anything in it. I, of course, started panicking and called my doctor. She said it was likely a small amount and not to worry. My only feedback would be a notation on the menu next to the roll - maybe capitalize or highlight the β€˜cbd spicy mayo’ , put it in a separate section, or confirm when someone orders it.
